How it Started
I fell in love with Mahjongg at my first lesson. The touch and click of the tiles, the thrill of a fresh challenge, the warmth of gathering together with friends . . . I was hooked! Many tiles later, I began teaching so I could share my passion
with others. The table is set.

WHAT are dots, cracks and bams? HOW do you wash tiles? WHO does the Charleston? These answers and much more
in your first class, Mahj 101. Learn the essentials - set-up, basic rules, etiquette and you will be ready to play! The lesson includes the NMJL playing card, the Oh My Mahjong 101 guide, and of course, a lot of fun!

Join us for the Magnolia Mini League! Are you curious how you would measure up with a little friendly competitive play? This event is for you! Join us starting Tuesday, June 16th, for three evenings to share your love of the game with others, increase your skills, make some new friends, and maybe win! The Magnolia Mini League is for players familiar with the NMJL card and who are comfortable playing independently. Each week delivers engaging mahjongg, using our beautifully curated sets of tiles, with prizes for top scorers, culminating with one grand prize winner. If you can't make all three weeks, send a friend in your place and we'll use their score to keep you in the running. Oh, and did we mention fun? With My Magnolia Mahjongg there’s always a bit of sass and Southern hospitality in the mix!
