How it Started
I fell in love with Mahjongg at my first lesson. The touch and click of the tiles, the thrill of a fresh challenge, the warmth of gathering together with friends . . . I was hooked! Many tiles later, I began teaching so I could share my passion
with others. The table is set.

in your first class, Mahj 101. Learn the essentials - set-up, basic rules, etiquette and you will be ready to play! The lesson includes the NMJL playing card, the Oh My Mahjong 101 guide, and of course, a lot of fun!

The My Magnolia Mahjongg Madison Classic
We are excited to host this very special weekend in historic Madison, Georgia—consistently named one of the most beautiful small towns in the United States.
Enjoy the charm of this Southern jewel: tour an antebellum home, browse Madison’s fabulous downtown boutiques, visit the one of a kind Georgia Safari Conservation Park (a personal favorite - I HIGHLY recommend this experience/lodging), and explore the rich history that makes this town so unforgettable.
The weekend begins with a Friday Welcome Reception featuring bubbles, light bites, and Open Play from 4:30–7:00 p.m.—a perfect way to settle in, enjoy the company of fellow players and become familiar with our extensive collection of luxury tiles.
On Saturday, the tournament will take place from 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and will include five rounds of play across two divisions (20-minute or 15-minute games). Players will enjoy a “Welcome Splash” along with a catered lunch. Tournament play will follow National Mahjong League rules for American Mahjongg, using the My Magnolia Mahjongg scorecard..
Expect elevated touches throughout the weekend, including curated swag, surprise giveaways, and grand prizes for our top scorers—all served with our signature blend of sassy Southern hospitality.

• Full Weekend (Friday Reception + Saturday Tournament): $205 per person
• Friday Open Play Only: $70 per person at the Variety Works
• Saturday Tournament Only: $145 per person at Empire MIlls
Lodging and additional dining arrangements are the responsibility of each guest. Madison offers a selection of charming bed & breakfasts and franchise hotels; however, accommodations are limited, so early booking is highly recommended.
